Responsibilities
- Real-Time Monitoring: Monitor security alerts and events in real-time using SIEM tools to detect and respond to cyber threats.
- Incident Response: Lead the investigation and resolution of security breaches, performing forensic analysis to determine the scope of impact.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits to identify weaknesses in our systems.
- Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to internal security policies, industry standards (NIST, ISO), and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Policy Implementation: Develop, review, and update security policies and procedures to enhance the organization's security posture.
- Collaboration: Partner with IT and engineering teams to patch vulnerabilities, configure firewalls, and secure network architecture.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GIAC GCIH is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or as a Security Analyst.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and incident response tools.
- Networking: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, VPNs, and firewall technologies.
- Analytical Mindset: Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
