Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within our SIEM environment in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans to ensure business continuity during security breaches.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Active certification such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, incident response, or network security.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation and threat hunting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
