Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Manage firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and endpoint protection tools.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and playbooks.
- Collaborate with IT teams to secure cloud infrastructure and networks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in information security or network security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security architectures.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
