Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and security alerts to identify potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches promptly.
- Configure, maintain, and tune firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM solutions.
- Enforce strict security policies and access controls across the organization.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to secure cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Generate detailed reports on security posture and compliance status.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common network protocols.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours if required for critical incident response.
