Key Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and security alerts in real-time to identify potential threats.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Respond to and mitigate security breaches and incidents effectively.
- Implement and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint security.
- Enforce data protection policies and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and strengthen security postures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or network security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and network protocols.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, SolarWinds) and endpoint protection.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with a flexible schedule.
