Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response investigations for malware and APT attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security automation scripts using Python/PowerShell
- Collaborate with SOC teams on threat hunting initiatives
- Document security incidents and prepare executive reports
- Stay current with MITRE ATT&CK framework and NIST standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in SOC operations or threat analysis
- CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification required
- Expertise in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently during flexible hours
