Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for security incidents and initiate response protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments using Nessus, Qualys, and Burp Suite
- Develop and maintain security playbooks for incident response procedures
- Collaborate with network engineers to implement zero-trust architectures
- Perform forensic analysis of security breaches using tools like EnCase and FTK
- Generate executive-level security dashboards and compliance reports
- Lead phishing simulation campaigns and security awareness training
- Research emerging threats and contribute to threat intelligence databases
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations with hands-on incident response experience
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ required; GIAC preferred
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP networking, firewalls, and endpoint protection platforms
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation tasks
