Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and systems for suspicious activities using SIEM tools.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses.
- Respond to security incidents and breaches, implementing containment and remediation strategies.
- Manage and configure firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security best practices across the organization.
- Provide security awareness training to employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH are highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or a related IT role.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security architectures.
