Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security events in equity options trading platforms using SIEM tools
- Conduct threat hunting and vulnerability assessments for financial systems
- Implement zero-trust architectures for options trading networks
- Collaborate with trading teams to develop secure API integrations
- Respond to incidents and lead forensic investigations
- Ensure compliance with FINRA, SEC, and NC cybersecurity regulations
- Document security protocols and create incident response playbooks
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with financial services experience
- Certification (CISSP, CISM, or CEH) required
- Expertise in options trading systems and market data protocols
- Proficiency with Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, or Splunk technologies
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and financial regulations
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Fri-Sun)
