Responsibilities
- Monitor and protect equity options trading systems against cyber threats during weekend trading hours
- Implement and maintain security controls for financial data encryption and access management
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on trading platforms
- Develop incident response protocols for trading system breaches
- Collaborate with financial analysts to understand trading workflows and security implications
- Ensure compliance with SEC regulations and PCI DSS standards
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or Finance with 3+ years relevant experience
- Certification in CISSP, CISM, or CEH preferred
- Proven experience with financial trading platforms or equity systems
- Expertise in SIEM tools, threat detection, and incident response
- Strong understanding of financial regulations (SEC, FINRA, PCI-DSS)
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun 6am-2pm)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network security protocols
