Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security events for equity trading platforms during weekend hours
- Respond to and resolve cybersecurity incidents involving options trading systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments on financial applications and networks
- Implement and maintain security controls for options data encryption
- Collaborate with global teams to patch weekend-discovered vulnerabilities
- Generate incident reports for executive stakeholders
- Stay current on threat intelligence targeting financial markets
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with financial services experience
- Certification in CISSP, CISM, or CEH
- Expert knowledge of equity options trading systems
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Proficiency in network security protocols (IPS/IDS, firewalls)
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Strong analytical skills for threat correlation
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (SOX, GDPR, SEC)
