Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security alerts on equity options trading systems during weekend shifts
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on financial platforms
- Implement and maintain security controls for trading environment infrastructure
- Collaborate with trading desks to develop secure protocols for options transactions
- Investigate security incidents and forensic analysis for financial systems
- Stay current on emerging threats specific to financial trading platforms
- Document security procedures and compliance requirements for equity options
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity with focus on financial systems or trading platforms
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence platforms
- Deep understanding of equity options trading concepts and market infrastructure
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or CEH with financial security specialization
- Proficiency in network security, encryption, and secure coding practices
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical skills for complex threat scenarios in financial environments
