Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security alerts on equity trading platforms during night shift hours
- Conduct vulnerability assessments on options trading systems and financial networks
- Implement incident response protocols for cybersecurity threats
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security enhancements
- Document security incidents and maintain compliance with financial regulations
- Perform penetration testing on internal trading systems
- Develop automated security scripts for threat detection
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience in financial services
- Certification (CISSP, CEH, or CISM) preferred
- Knowledge of equity options trading systems and protocols
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Ability to work independently during night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong understanding of NIST and FINRA security frameworks
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for security automation
