Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms to detect and respond to cyber threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Develop and implement security protocols, policies, and incident response procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., NIST, HIPAA)
- Document security incidents, mitigation actions, and system improvements
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend proactive security measures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent certification preferred
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and security analytics platforms
