Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on provided equipment
- Incident response coordination during security breaches
- Develop and implement security policies for network infrastructure
- Perform threat hunting using provided threat intelligence feeds
- Document security findings and recommend remediation actions
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch systems using provided testing environments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations
- Experience with SIEM tools, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Ability to work with provided specialized security hardware/software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
