Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents via SIEM tools.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems.
- Investigate security breaches and develop incident response plans.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory standards (e.g., NIST, ISO).
- Document security architectures and maintain detailed audit trails.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, OSI models, and network protocols.
- Proficiency with security tools like Splunk, Snort, or Wireshark.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills under pressure.
