Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using provided SIEM tools and endpoint detection platforms
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption technologies
- Investigate security incidents and lead forensic analysis using provided forensic toolkits
- Develop and update security policies, procedures, and incident response plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and CIS frameworks
- Provide security awareness training to employees using provided training materials
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification preferred
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud architectures (AWS/Azure), and threat intelligence
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys) and penetration testing
- Ability to work with provided forensic tools and security automation platforms
