Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and penetration testing support.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewall and network security appliances.
- Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and recommend remediation steps.
- Ensure strict compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA regulatory frameworks.
- Collaborate with cloud teams to secure AWS/Azure environments and implement Zero Trust architecture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or network security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, network protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to critical security incidents.
