Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Investigate and remediate security breaches to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch systems and harden network architecture.
- Document security policies and incident reports for executive review.
Qualifications
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Security+ certification required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Proven experience with remote work environments and digital collaboration tools.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, network protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required for security clearance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
