Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security threats using SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and implement incident response protocols for cyber attacks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture
- Document security policies and procedures in compliance with NIST frameworks
- Lead threat hunting initiatives to proactively identify emerging risks
- Provide 24/7 incident response support on rotating schedule
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations, threat analysis, or incident response
- Professional certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Strong understanding of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Ability to work independently in remote environment
