Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents across enterprise networks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST/CIS frameworks
- Document security incidents and prepare executive reports
- Lead incident response procedures during security breaches
- Develop security awareness training for staff
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience (SOC, SIEM, or threat detection)
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and architecture
- Ability to obtain Secret clearance (US citizenship required)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
