We are looking for a vigilant, detail-oriented professional who excels in identifying threats and implementing robust security measures.
Responsibilities
- Threat Detection & Response: Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in real-time using SIEM tools like Splunk and QRadar.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate system weaknesses.
- Security Controls: Manage and configure firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions to ensure robust defense-in-depth.
- Compliance & Policy: Develop, document, and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Incident Analysis: Perform forensic analysis on security breaches and prepare detailed incident reports for stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Partner with IT and DevOps teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CompTIA Network+ is highly preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in SOC, Network Security, or Incident Response.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Linux and Windows server environments; experience with scripting (Python/Bash) is a plus.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, and network protocols.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting to executive leadership.
