Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and security alerts 24/7 to detect and prevent intrusions.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on corporate systems.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, breaches, and malware outbreaks.
- Ensure strict compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001) and local regulations.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement robust security protocols and firewalls.
- Document security policies, incident reports, and audit trails accurately.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees to reduce human error.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Valid CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in SOC (Security Operations Center) operations.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and operating systems.
- Experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk, IBM QRadar, or Microsoft Sentinel.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
