Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, Sentinel)
- Conduct forensic investigations on security incidents and breaches
- Implement and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security tools
- Develop incident response playbooks and conduct tabletop exercises
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Generate executive-level security reports and risk assessments
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations (SOC, threat analysis, or incident response)
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (Splunk preferred)
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
- Knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) frameworks
- Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, or GDPR compliance
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 operations coverage
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
