As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be on the front lines protecting our infrastructure, monitoring for threats in real-time, and implementing robust security protocols. Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents in SIEM systems (Splunk, QRadar) to identify potential threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
- Implement and manage security policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Respond to and mitigate cybersecurity breaches and incidents promptly.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure software deployment.
- Provide security awareness training to staff members.
- Document technical findings and maintain accurate security logs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus software, and endpoint protection.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and security architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to work flexible hours during high-risk periods.
