Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for real-time threat detection
- Conduct forensic investigations on security incidents and breaches
- Develop and implement vulnerability assessment protocols
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate security gaps
- Create detailed incident response reports for stakeholders
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and mitigation strategies
- Assist in developing security policies and procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Active CISSP or Security+ certification required
- Proficiency in network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST, MITRE ATT&CK)
- Knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure during security incidents
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
