Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for real-time threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Incident response coordination including threat containment and eradication
- Develop and maintain security documentation including policies and playbooks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls
- Analyze malware and advanced persistent threats (APTs)
- Provide daily security briefings to stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Hands-on experience with incident response frameworks (NIST CSF)
- Proficiency in network security tools (Wireshark, Nmap)
- Knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architecture
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent tasks
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
