Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct forensic investigations on security incidents
- Implement vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response playbooks and runbooks
- Collaborate with red team on threat hunting exercises
- Generate executive security reports for client stakeholders
- Remediate critical vulnerabilities within SLA timeframe
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with daily pay contract history
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in SIEM tools and threat intelligence platforms
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid NYS security clearance or ability to obtain
