Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for 24/7 threat detection and alert triage
- Conduct forensic investigations on security incidents using FTK and EnCase
- Develop playbooks for common attack vectors including ransomware and APTs
- Perform vulnerability assessments across on-premise and cloud environments
- Generate executive-level security reports for stakeholder briefings
- Coordinate incident response with law enforcement and CERT teams
- Implement zero-trust architecture principles for network segmentation
Qualifications
- CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification required (CompTIA Security+ accepted)
- 3+ years SOC experience with hands-on incident response
- Proficiency in network security tools (FireEye, CrowdStrike)
- Experience with NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Knowledge of Windows/Linux forensics and memory analysis
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
