Responsibilities
- Conduct real-time threat detection and incident response for financial services clients
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud infrastructure
- Develop and deploy SIEM correlation rules for 24/7 monitoring
- Lead forensic investigations for ransomware and APT attacks
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement security-by-design principles
- Generate executive-level security risk reports with actionable insights
Qualifications
- 3+ years cybersecurity experience with daily pay or contract roles
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in NIST frameworks and NYDFS 23 NYCRR 500
- Proficiency in Splunk, Palo Alto Networks, and AWS WAF
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (CrowdStrike, Recorded Future)
- Strong written communication for technical documentation
