Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on client networks
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for threats
- Develop incident response plans and execute security protocols
- Analyze malware and implement threat mitigation strategies
- Generate comprehensive security reports for stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture
- Stay current with emerging cyber threats and defensive technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis or related roles
- CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP certification preferred
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and penetration testing
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (AlienVault, Recorded Future)
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
