Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor security controls (SIEM, EDR, firewalls) to detect/respond to incidents
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for critical systems
- Develop security documentation (policies, playbooks, incident reports)
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001 standards
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Monitor emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
- Manage security tool integrations and optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations, threat detection, or incident response
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
