Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and alerts 24/7 to detect, analyze, and respond to potential cyber threats and vulnerabilities in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses and ensure compliance.
- Manage and configure firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint protection tools.
- Investigate and lead incident response efforts, performing root cause analysis and documenting post-incident reports.
- Develop, maintain, and update security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation in alignment with industry standards.
- Collaborate with software development and IT teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GIAC GSEC are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network security, information security analysis, or SOC operations.
- Strong working knowledge of SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence platforms.
- Experience with risk management frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
