Responsibilities
- Monitor enterprise networks 24/7 to identify and respond to security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement remediation strategies.
- Configure, maintain, and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and VPNs.
- Conduct regular security audits and compliance checks (SOC2, NIST, HIPAA) to ensure regulatory adherence.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Generate and analyze security reports to communicate risk status to senior management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Cybersecurity or Network Security.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and log analysis.
- Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms and attack methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
