Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems using SIEM tools to detect and respond to threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response plans and coordinate breach mitigation
- Implement network security controls (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS)
- Ensure compliance with NIST, HIPAA, and SOC 2 standards
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security in CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity analysis with hands-on threat detection experience
- Certified CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency in Splunk, Azure Sentinel, or similar SIEM platforms
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with incident response and forensic investigation
