As a key member of our Security Operations Center (SOC), you'll monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents across hybrid cloud environments. Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for real-time threat detection and analysis
- Investigate security incidents using forensic tools and methodologies to determine root causes
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts for incident response workflows
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of network infrastructure
- Generate comprehensive security reports and executive dashboards for stakeholders
- Implement security controls aligned with NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks
- Collaborate with IT teams to harden systems against emerging cyber threats
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent certification required
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud architectures (AWS/Azure), and operating systems
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms and MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate complex security concepts
- Valid U.S. government security clearance preferred
