Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for threat detection and analysis
- Conduct incident response investigations, including digital forensics and root cause analysis
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including playbooks and runbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and compliance frameworks
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Lead security awareness training programs for employees
- Stay current on emerging cyber threats and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud architectures, and threat intelligence
- Experience with NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
- Valid US driver's license and ability to work on-call rotation
