Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms and analyze security alerts to detect potential breaches
- Conduct forensic investigations and incident response for security incidents
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and policies
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement vulnerability remediation plans
- Perform penetration testing and security assessments on network assets
- Generate comprehensive threat intelligence reports for executive stakeholders
- Lead security awareness training sessions for employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in SOC operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong understanding of network protocols and cloud security architectures
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to maintain composure during high-pressure security incidents
