Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activities
- Investigate and respond to security incidents with rapid containment protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and implement security controls to prevent unauthorized access
- Generate comprehensive security incident reports and executive summaries
- Collaborate with IT teams to maintain compliance with NIST and ISO frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on security operations experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and cloud security architectures
- Experience with incident response playbooks and threat intelligence
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 monitoring coverage
