Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and endpoint security
- Develop incident response plans and conduct tabletop exercises
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture
- Stay current with emerging threats and regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years experience in security operations or incident response
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency in network security tools (Palo Alto, Fortinet)
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and risk assessment
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts for incident response
