Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct forensic investigations on security incidents and breaches
- Develop and implement threat detection strategies and playbooks
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security initiatives
- Generate comprehensive incident response reports
- Stay current with emerging threats and attack vectors
- Maintain security documentation and compliance frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CEH, or Security+
- Expertise in SIEM tools and network security protocols
- Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) environments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills for technical/non-technical audiences
