Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct daily vulnerability scans and risk assessments to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Lead incident response activities, including triage, containment, and eradication of malware and cyberattacks.
- Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection software.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Prepare and present detailed security reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field; 3+ years of relevant experience preferred.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH are a strong plus.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or PowerShell for automation and threat hunting.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security architecture.
- Experience with cloud security frameworks and tools (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
