Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Develop and implement security controls to protect networks and data
- Incident response coordination including forensic analysis and remediation
- Generate security reports and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Stay updated on emerging threats and security best practices
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and ISO standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in threat detection tools and incident response protocols
- Strong knowledge of network security principles (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize critical incidents
