Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using provided SIEM platforms (Splunk/QRadar)
- Conduct incident response investigations using forensic hardware/software
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Generate comprehensive threat intelligence reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate vulnerabilities
- Perform security audits and compliance assessments
- Document security incidents and response procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years experience in SOC operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+/CEH/CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Knowledge of network protocols and cloud security
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts (24/7 operations)
