Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM tools 24/7 to detect and respond to security incidents
- Conduct forensic investigations and root cause analysis of security breaches
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and harden systems
- Generate detailed incident reports and executive security briefings
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Stay current on emerging threats and countermeasures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity analysis with hands-on SIEM experience (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Industry certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH) preferred
- Proficiency in network security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize incidents
