Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events 24/7 using SIEM tools to detect and respond to breaches in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents, documenting findings and creating post-incident reports.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC2.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to secure cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, Azure Sentinel, or similar) and endpoint detection systems.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, encryption, and network architecture.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to stakeholders.
