Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and endpoint protection
- Develop incident response plans and conduct forensic investigations
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and ISO 27001 standards
- Generate security reports for executive stakeholders
- Research emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or SOC environments
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or CompTIA CySA+
- Proficiency in network security tools (Wireshark, Nmap)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architecture
- Strong analytical skills and threat hunting capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
