Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems to detect and respond to cybersecurity incidents
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Investigate security breaches and implement remediation procedures
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including incident response plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and threat intelligence platforms
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
- Valid US driver's license and ability to travel occasionally
