Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools such as Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits to identify potential weaknesses.
- Manage and configure firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and VPNs to secure network perimeters effectively.
- Enforce organizational security policies and compliance standards (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA) across all departments.
- Collaborate closely with IT and development teams to implement secure coding practices and infrastructure changes.
- Prepare and present comprehensive security reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related technical role.
- Professional certification is highly preferred: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or CISM.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, threat intelligence, and incident response procedures.
- Proficiency with security tools including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
