Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate security incidents using forensic methodologies and threat intelligence
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response playbooks and security documentation
- Collaborate with IT teams on security architecture improvements
- Report on security metrics and executive dashboards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on security operations experience
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools and threat detection methodologies
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network protocols
- Excellent analytical skills and incident response capabilities
